When Star Heroine Asked About Suicide

Star heroine Manisha Koirala is a dream girl for audiences of 90s. She starred in many super hit films back then and finally settled down in Bollywood for some artistic cinema. However, she was attacked with cancer and that stunned who cine world.

Talking about the kind of facilities West is providing for cancer patients, Manisha said this way: “I was diagnosed in Nepal, then taken to Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai. When they realised it was going to be a complicated surgery , we went to Sloan-Kettering in the US.They (in the west) have a whole system to look after the patient in every aspect. I had people coming to ask me if I wanted to commit suicide! They've gone far ahead in anticipating the concerns and needs of cancer patients,“ she added.

Manisha is currently helping other cancer affected and survivors to help fellow cancer patients with their talks and motivational speeches.
