The film, which stars Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, and Bobby Simha, will be released in two parts. The first instalment of the film will be released on September 30. The teaser date for the sequence was revealed by the creators. It will be launched on July 7 at Thanjavur's Brihadeshwara Temple. Lyca Productions co-produced the film, which Mani Ratnam self-produced under the Madras Talkies banner. The film will be released in the following languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
