Kona Venkat's 'Powder' Targeting Tollywood

Drug and Tollywood go hand in hand, isn't it? Whenever someone gets caught in drugs, names of Tollywood celebs emerge out of it.

Long back when a couple of Nigerian drug pedlars were arrested by West Zone police in Hyderabad, names of many big Tollywood celebs are supposed to come out. Though only Raviteja's brothers are caught red handed using the drugs, others just managed to not get their name into media and public eye. There are many other such cases later, but celebs names are carefully screened.

Update is that, writer-producer Kona Venkat has written a script for which he's considering the title "Powder". This flick is all about sniffing drugs, peddling them and managing media. We wonder if Kona is exposing many of those celebs who were rumoured to be addicted to drugs.
