Priyanka Chopra has become Desi Girl of Indian Cinema and crossed boundaries to act in several Hollywood productions. After becoming Miss World, she launched her acting career and reached heights of stardom starring opposite all renowned stars. Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor have been her lucky co-stars.


She acted in Hindi-Telugu bilingual Toofan/ Zanjeer but the movie became a disaster. Now, she is making a Telugu film debut with Mahesh Babu starrer SS Rajamouli's Varanasi. The movie has set a global phenomenon with the announcement video and event itself. 


Now, the reports state that she has been approached to appear in SUM-80 character that is played by Deepika Padukone in Kalki 2898 AD. For the eagerly awaited sequel, Kalki 2, the actress has been asked to give dates and makers promised that it would be designed differently from Deepika's portrayal, it seems. 


Reports further state that as Deepika has been ousted from the film, makers are keen on getting Priyanka as it would even open Worldwide market with her popularity. Nag Ashwin is working on the final draft and Kamal Haasan is expected to join sets soon. Amitabh Bachchan will be back and Prabhas will allocate dates post Spirit, say reports.
