He stated both Sam's waist comment and Anushka's thigh comment are taken in a positive stride and they are for entertainment. Also he apologise if anyone got hurt, but at the same time warned those who are writing gossips against him and also that lady Annapurna Sunkara who blasted him through video.

Insiders revealed an interesting thing behind this whole happening. All these days Ali never cared about Annapurna Sunkara's comments and even made fun of her comments many times. But suddenly when few people including Mahila Sangams warned about his sexist remarks, he got stunned. Because if he gets pushed into all these controversies, then getting an MP or MLA ticket for next elections will become tough. Though Ali stated that he's not interested in politics at the moment, behind the screen he want to bag a ticket under minority quota and come up with flying colours.
