Spring Onion Toast Recipe

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

Spring onion - 1/2 cup

Moong dal - 3 tsp

Green chilli - 2

Salt - as needed

Pepper powder - as needed

Oil - as needed

Bread slices - a small loaf

Coconut ( grated ) - 3 tsp

Butter - as needed

Cumin - 1/2 tsp

 

Preparation :

* Soak moong dal in water for 15 minutes.

* Cut green chilli into pieces.

* Heat oil in a frying pan.

* Add spring onion, chilli, moong dal, salt, pepper powder, cover with a lid and cook.

* When cooked, remove the pan from stove.

* Grind the cooked items with coconut, cumin to a paste.

* Smear butter on a bread slice, ground paste, cover with another slice and toast.
