Loyal Viveka May Return as MLC

Loyalty pays! Of course, more so when the party is in straits. The former agricultural minister, Mr Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, has got a chance to re-enter the legislative council following the appointment of the former MLC, Mr K. Rosaiah, as the Tamil Nadu Governor.
Mr Vivekananda Reddy has been unwaveringly loyal to the Congress high command even after he was defeated by his sister-inlaw and YSR Congress honorary president, Ms Y.S. Vijayamma, in the Pulivendula Assembly byelection. Mr Vivekananda Reddy resigned from his post as agriculture minister as his MLC tenure had expired and had contested in the Pulivendula bypoll.
