UPA co-ordinate meeting begins

The crucial UPA co-ordination committee begins at Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh’s residence a short while ago. Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Finance Minister Chidambaram,  Home minister Susheel Kumar Shinde, Ahmad Patel, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana, Kamalnath, Amar Singh, Ahmad, Ajit Singh, Farook Abdulla, Sarad Pawar and few others are among the leaders, who are participating in the ongoing UPA co-ordination committee meeting.

Kashmir CM Farook Abdulla, representing National Conference party has categorically stated that his party opposes creating of new states. However, he said it is up to Congress to decide whether to divide the state or not.

Ajit Singh, representing RL(D) has favored creating Telangana state. The UPA meeting is likely to conclude in half an hour so.
