Malladi Vishnu spotted in Shiridi

Vijayawada city Congress party president Malladi Vishnu, who has been absconding from police since last two weeks, was spotted in Shiridi, Maharashtra yesterday. A devote from the AP state, who happen to be there took a photograph of him with his mobile phone camera and sent it to media yesterday. Hence, a police team from Vijayawada is reportedly leaving for Shiridi today to arrest him.

He is 9th accused in the spurious liquor case in which five people were died in his Swarna Bar and Restaurant in Krishna Lanka in Krishna district. He has been absconding from police ever since his name was added in the accused list. His lawyer is reportedly filed anticipatory bail in the city court. Police have found that Malladi Vishnu’s mother and three others of his relatives are license holders of Swarna Bar. Hence, they were also summoned for questioning, but none of them turned up. Hence, police have served notices to them all again recently.
