NCP gives shock to Congress party

The upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections not only create rift between alliance partners but also topples the state government. Maharashtra Chief Minister Pridhviraj Chawan resigns after their alliance partner NCP withdraws its support to his government today failing to strike a deal on seat sharing between two parties. Though, they are prepared to snap their alliance, this development was not expected because it is very essential for both parties to continue in power till last minute to have edge over their rivals BJP and Shivsena parties. Sharad Pawar led NCP gives a great shock to ruling Congress party in Maharashtra. This may further ruin the electoral chances of tainted ruling government .
