    Cong. about supporting Aam Admi

Actually Congress party has voluntarily extends its support to Aam Admi party in an attempt to win the hearts of Delhi people, who stood by Aam Admi party. However, its leaders start talking about conditional support, issue based support and even withdrawing support to AAP before it could form the government. If, Congress also has sat quietly without coming to AAP support like BJP did, it would not have faced any criticism from the people. But, after announcing its support, letting its leaders blowing AAP has damaged its reputation.   Hence, former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit’s son Sandeep Dikshit came to media yesterday to condemn the reports and speculations about Congress having second thoughts in extending its support to AAP. He said “There are no second thoughts at all in our decision. They are just media speculations only. Our party has extended its support to AAP only because it wants provide the Delhi people a better governance, better facilities. Our intentions are also same. So, we thought it is justified to support AAP. We expect AAC will fulfill all its elections promises made to people of Delhi. If, it could do that job, we are ready to work with it in future also.”   However Yogender Yadav, one of the leaders of AAP has said “We will accept Congress support to our government but not any interference or alliance with it.”

Will CM Kiran stress for Samaikyandhra in CM’s meeting?

CM Kiran Kumar Reddy will leave for New Delhi today evening to attend Congress Chief Ministers’ meeting to be held by Rahul Gandhi. The main agenda of this meeting would be chalking-out an action plan for facing 2014 general elections. While taking feedback from the CMs about party position in their states, Rahul Gandhi may stress them to widely campaign about UPA government’s achievements like Cash Transfer, Food Security bill and Lokpal bill etc.   CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who these days has softens his tone against party high command and Samaikyandhra may chose this occasion to boast about his various schemes like Bangaru Talli, Indiramma Kalalu etc. and may highlight ‘India Today Award’ that he received recently for excellence in government administration, instead of speaking about bifurcation and the problems that may arise out of it. This can avert any kind of embarrassment to Rahul Gandhi and CM Kiran Kumar Reddy as well.

Jagan submits affidavit to President Pranab

It appears YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will never a leave any chance that helps to project himself as the savior of Samaikyandhra. At the same time, he also never forgets to blame his political rival Chandrababu for not following him.   He and his followers have met President Pranab Mukharji on Thursday and submitted affidavits to him opposing division of the state.   Later speaking to media he said “We have appealed the President through our affidavits not to divide the state. So far, Chandrababu has never asked his party MLAs to submit affidavits to President. This itself is clearly revealing what his intentions are. So, I would like to appeal all others, including Chandrababu to submit affidavit to President opposing bifurcation. I strongly believe that participating in the T-Bill debate in Assembly is nothing but accepting for bifurcation. So, YSR Congress party will not participate in any such debate but press for passing a resolution seeking Samaikyandhra. Chandrababu Naidu, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and Speaker Nadendla Manohar will lose the faith of the people if they ignore the bill and co-operate for bifurcation of the state. Hence, I appeal Chandrababu and all others to join our fight against division of the state.”

    Nothing is impossible: Aravind Kejriwal

Aravind Kejriwal, who is going take oath as Chief Minister of Delhi told the media that he has no magic wand in his hand to wipe-off all the problems overnight. But, if honestly worked there is nothing impossible.   He said “I have asked the bureaucrats of Delhi government, who want to join us, contact me through e-mail or SMS and many have responded to my appeal. Once our government takes charge, we will immediately start working in accordance with our election manifesto. I will personally invite my mentor Anna Hazare, Kiran Bedi and Justice Santosh Hegde to grace the swearing in cermony of our government.”   However Anna Hazare, who differs with Kejriwal has already told the media that he can’t attend the ceremony on health grounds. Aravind Kejriwal and his six MLAs will take oath at Ram Leela Bhavan, New Delhi on 28th December.

    Show-cause notice issued to JC

Senior Congress leader and party MLA JC Diwakar Reddy was given show-cause notice by PCC disciplinary committee today, for asking party Chief Sonia Gandhi step down from her post. He was given 7 days’ time to give his explanation. However, JC Diwakar Reddy told the media that he has not received any show-cause notice until now.   He said “I want to stay in Congress forever, but PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana wants to send me out of party. I will take a decision after I receive show-cause notice.”   However JC, who until now has been stating that he got invitations from both TDP and YSR Congress parties, spells his choice by praising YSR Congress party and criticizing TDP. “I strongly believe that YSR Congress party alone is honestly fighting to keep the state united. TDP, which has already lost one of its eye because of its two-eyes-policy may lose the other also, if won’t say Samaikyandhra. Let my brother and son decide about which party they want to join. I will not press them to join any party,” said JC Diwakar Reddy.

Jagan choses TDP stronghold for Samaikya Yatra launching

Jagan Mohan Reddy, who begins his Samaikya Shankaravam cum Odarpu Yatra from Chandrababu Naidu’s home constituency Kuppam few weeks ago, has again chooses TDP’s strong hold constituency Palamaneru to launch the second phase of his Samaikya Shankaravam yatra. He will begin his yatra from the Fourth Road Cross at Palamaneru assembly constituency December 27th .   Jagan seems to be determined to break TDP’s strong forts before concentrating on its weak places. Last time, when he kick starts his tour from Kuppam, there was high tense moments as TDP and YCP cadres have almost locked their horns. This time also the same kind of tense situation may erupt as Palamaneru is a strong hold for TDP.

Responding to a petition filed by Mrs.Swaroopa wife of OU (Kareem Nagar) T-JAC leader Sri Ram, High Court has served notices to Minister Sridhar babu and to Kareem Nagar police today. Will high command make CM Kiran calm

Congress is gearing for 2014 general elections. Part of that efforts, it is holding a meeting with Chief Ministers of Congress ruling governments on 27th December at New Delhi to review party situation in their states. Hence, all eyes turn towards CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is revolting against Congress high command for its decision to divide the state.   However, he may definitely utilize this opportunity to explain his views to his counterparts of other states. If, speaks against the high command in the meeting, it would be very embarrassing for Congress high command. Hence, it is Congress high command, which has to think twice on how to make him calm in the meeting.

Telangana will be reality before 2014 elections: Digvijay

Probably, the speculations about delaying or shelving of Telangana issue due to denial for TRS merger with Congress party bring party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh to media after a long interval.   He said “I appeal political leaders not to mix-up the political issues with administrative affairs. Congress is not expecting any political mileage out of bifurcation issue. It is just following the decision taken by its highest governing body CWC. Hence, I would like to clarify that the merger of TRS with Congress party is no way connected to bifurcation process. It is entirely an administrative process.”   He added further, “We are very confident to create Telangana state before 2014 general elections. We are ready to summon special sessions of Parliament for passing T-bill. So, one shouldn’t suspect our honesty. We can’t and will not take ‘U’ turn like regional parties on this issue,” said Digvijay Singh to media.

BJP cry foul for taking Cong. support

BJP which is almost laid its hands on Delhi government, but forced to stop as it is four seats short to form the government, cries foul on AAP getting ready to form the government taking Congress party support.   A senior BJP leader at New Delhi has said, “Actually, we have strongly suspected that Congress has encouraged AAP to split the votes, when it realized that it can’t win in the Delhi elections also. Our judgment proved to correct, when it writes a letter to Lt. Governor extending an unconditional support to AAP. We can assume that Congress has been always adored to such cheap tricks. But, why AAP is accepting Congress support, while it has repeatedly refused to take its support all these days? Is it lost its morals in such a short period and becomes power hungry? We would like to know how it can send the Congress leaders to jail, while it is running on Congress support. However, we wish AAP implement its election manifesto."

Aam Admi decides to form the Government

Aam Admi party led by Aravind Kejriwal has announced that it has decide to form the government taking the Congress party support, following the majority decision of the referendum it has conducted during last one week. Appeals to President opposing division

President Pranab Mukharji stay at Hyderabad has facilitated the state political parties and their leaders to meet him to express their concern over division of the state. CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP leaders and MP Vivek have met President Pranab Mukharji separately on yesterday, who gave representation in accordance with their stands.   CM Kiran Kumar Reddy had meeting for more than one hour with President. He is said to be explained the problems that may arise out of bifurcation of the state, several flaws of the T-bill.       While, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is still arguing that he will not let the state divide Principle Secretary PK Mohanthy, following the orders from Centre has asked the heads of various departments of state government to furnish the details of the employees, their service records, liabilities and assets to be divided between Andhra and Telangana states. He has asked them to go through the articles 9 and 10 of the AP re-organization bill 2013 that mentions the list of organizations to be divided between two states. He asked them to furnish the details on or before January 23rd, which is the last date for returning the bill to President by the state government.

Loksatta party national president Jayaprakash Narayan has raised several points that need clarifications on several articles of the bill. Many Seemandhra MLAs also complained to Speaker Nadendla Manohar about the incomplete information of the bill and demanded him to provide full details on each and every article of the bill before staring a debate.
