Nandamuri Harikrishna, who few months ago has resigned to his Rajya Sabha seat without the knowledge of his party high command protesting bifurcation of the state, has asked Chandrababu to nominate him to Rajya Sabha again.
Giving his explanation to him, he said in the polit-bureau that he has resigned only for the sake of Samaikyandhra honoring people’s sentiment and following his father late NTR’s ambitions for united Andhra Pradesh. He said that he has never indulged in antiparty activities and never crossed the party line. So, he asked Chandrababu to nominate him to Rajya Sabha again. However, he left the meeting in the middle. Probably, Chandrababu might have refused to nominate him.
According to latest reports, the polit-bureau members have unanimously backed Garikapati Mohan Rao for Rajya Sabha seat. Perhaps, it may very much disappoint Motkupalli Narasimhulu, who is pitching for his nomination. Currently, TDP polit-bureau meeting is continuing and it may end any time after finalizing the other candidate of the party. Nannapaneni Rajakumari is also insisting Chandrababu for her nomination.
