Aus vs Sri Lanka Final: SL Has Fair Chances to Win

Australia vs Sri Lanka 3rd tri-series final is in progress at the Adelaide Oval. A combined bowling effort from the Lankans and some smart fielding restricted Australian team to a total of 231/9 at 12.30 IST, Thursday, 8 March, 2012.
The initial momentum with the bat provided by the openers David Warner and Matthew Wade, both of them fell on the brink of half-centuries, was neutralized with regular wickets. Farveez Maharoof and Rangana Herath took three wickets each while Nuwan Kulasekar with back to back wickets in the last over ended with two. Wade (49) was the top scorer for the Australians as none of their batsmen managed a fifty.
Going by the form, it seems, Sri Lanka are on the verge of a historic victory. If they win the third final today, it will be their maiden Australian tri-series victory since first taking part in the tournament in 1984-85.
