Dharmana Ram Manohar Naidu, son of Minister for Roads and Buildings Dharmana Prasada Rao, was questioned by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths for over four hours on Monday.
“I got a wrong call. Neither I nor any of my family members are in the liquor business. I am in the granite business,” Mr. Ram Manohar Naidu told mediapersons waiting outside the ACB office at Seethammadhara on Monday evening. He said that he had answered the questions of ACB officials.
“I haven’t taken any money from the liquor syndicate. I told them (ACB) everything and they will give you the details,” he said when reminded that he being the Minister’s son wouldn’t be picked up on flimsy grounds. He said that his opponents could have made wild allegations.
“A notice was issued to Ram Manohar Naidu and he was summoned for clarification in the Oruganti Eswara Rao liquor syndicate case.
