Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam officially launched the Karimnagar Chapter of Lead India 2020 on November 14th 2007.
Dr. Kalam launched the Lead India 2020 mazagine "Karimnagar Karishma"
He also launched the E- paper "billion beats" through www.abdulkalam.com through medium students can directly interact with Dr. Kalam
Dr. Kalam arrived in Karimnagar as per schedule. He was received by Dr.N.B. Sudershan Acharya,
Prof. Arun Kumar Acharya, Sri. D .J. Ramesh and other trustees along with district and Govt. authorities
Dr. Kalam went down the memory lane to narrate the incidents of his school life and how his mentors and teacher helped him to improve his performance in mathematics.
Dr. Kalam administered seven point oath to the school students
He also administered a four point to the teachers
The programme started with rendering of Vande Mataram
Lead India General President Sri. D. J. Ramesh delivered the welcome address
Dr. Sudershan translated Dr. Kalam speech in telugu
Sri. Singham Raju proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme was compeered by the Secretary General Sri. K. Laxma Reddy
The programme ended with the rendering of National Anthem
