Gayatri (Revati), daughter of a priest, elopes with her lover to the US while she was about to be offered to Naga Devata. Gayatri narrates her story to her son Anand (Prithviraj), saying that there was a big sorcerer in her native village Sivapuram. During her childhood, that sorcerer tried to kidnap her but gets killed in the hands of her father. But that sorcerer, before dying transfers all his powers to his grandson called Digambar (Manoj K Jain) and tells him to take revenge against the priest's family and grab the Naga Manikyam. Anand returns to Sivapuram to fulfil her last wish to light 1,000 lamps in Naga Devata temple and perform her last rites by immersing her ashes in the temple koneru (tank). Chinna Tirupathi (Pasupathi), Johnson (Vayaapuri) and another crane operator plan to kidnap the child of a tycoon and earn Easy money. Now the day the plan was to be executed, the crane operator undergoes an appendix operation consequently his brother-in-law Annavaram (Kamal) is sent for to operate the crane in his absence. The two brothers, Srirangam Srinivasachari (K.Viswanath) and Srirangam Rangachari (Srikanth) are exceptionally gifted with excellence in music. Urvasi plays the role of Srinivasacharis wife, Rukmini. When they visit Kasi, they meet Veeraiya (Sridhar), who claims to be their fan and promises them that he would try his best to earn them a chance to give a public performance. Ultimately, it is because of Veeraiya that the Srirangam brothers get the chance of their lifetime, i.e. to sing for films and even visit America. Chandu is a struggling singer who wants to earn his place in the field of music, which according to him is possible only through the Srirangam brothers.
