Dr Prachee Javedkar , the Director of Javadekar Educational Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd.,  is a strong believer of that the all round  evolution of  a person is through constant growth as a human and  education plays an integral part of it. Sitting in a quiet corner of her office surrounded by books and thesis’s and dissertations of her students she has given a commitment to enhance the quality of education through her experience as an educational consultant. But she still sees herself a teacher who is keen on developing an interface with the industry and institutes which will proactively enhance the employability of the students.

She enjoys staying connected with youngsters and her 11 year stint with the Indira Institute of Management for which she was the Director forged this relation further.She has been instrumental in setting up the Indira Group of Institutes in Maharashtra from its nascent stage to getting the accreditations, developing the course curriculum, training the faculty and also develop innovative programs for students.

Not just restricting herself to one institute she has moved on to provide her expertise to  other educational institutions as a Consultant under the aegis of Javadekar Educational Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. which she started in 2011.She has also written many papers related to the field of education , published several books, handbooks .She has been an advocate of women empowerment and literacy and has rendered services to the cause of women as member of various boards and commissions in regards to this area.

Not many know that she is the wife of the recently appointed Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and  Ministry of Environment and Forests and also the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs , Mr Prakash Javadekar’s wife. With two sons  both of whom are academically inclined (Dr. Ashutosh Javdekar is an Assistant Professor at HNIMR and  Apoorva Javdekar is currently pursuing PhD in Economics, at BOSTON  University) she chooses to work in her own space and supports her husband in his causes towards the development of the State and now the nation.
