Sam In Legendary Heroine’s Biopic

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently announced to have signed some exciting projects, when media was continuously questioning her for not signing any new films in Telugu post Akkineni family officially announced about Naga Chaitanya to wed the actress sometime next year.
As per a buzz, Samantha has okayed to portray Savitri in the legendary heroine’s biopic film to be made by director Nag Ashwin of Yevade Subramanyam fame. Tentatively titled Mahanati Savitri, the film starts rolling in first quarter of 2017.
Post Janatha Garage release, Samantha stated that she was waiting for stories which would thrill her. Seems like, Nag Ashwin could impress the starlet with his narration. It’s a dream project for Ashwin who got appropriate heroine to essay the role of Savitri.
Vidya Balan and few other names were heard for the film. But, Sam is lucky enough to grab the prestigious project of Nag Ashwin.
