Salman's bodyguard gets a clean chit

on Oct 31, 2016

Recently Salman Khan’s bodyguard Gurmeet Singh alias Shera was booked for allegedly beating up a staff at a pub in Mumbai.  Shera has received a clean chit in the assault case filed by Attar Umar Qureshi. Police investigation brought out evidence that proved that it was a false complaint lodged with the intention to extort money. The victim even said that Shera broke his collar bone by hitting him hard with the butt of a pistol. This fight started with a heated arguement between Shera and Qureshi’s friend over the phone on October 25. Soon, Shera was detained by the DN Nagar police and was booked under IPC 326, 503 and 504. During the questioning, Shera told the cops that someone had tried to stop his car around 2 am near Amitabh Bachchan's Juhu bungalow. When he didn't stop, he'd deliberately fallen down on the road in front of the car. "We started searching for witnesses and came across taxi and auto-drivers who in their statement reiterated that someone had fallen down on the road to stop a car and injured himself in the process," a senior police officer said.
