Raju Gari Gadhi 2 Fails Litmus Test

Monday is a big test for any film. In fact, collections of a movie on Monday will decide its fate. King Akkineni Nagarjuna asd Samantha’s much hyped film Raju Gari Gadhi 2 has failed the litmus test as the movie witnessed huge drop in collections on Monday. The situation is said to be much worse on Tuesday. As per trade analysts, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is likely to end as a flop.

Expectations were quite high on RGG 2 before the movie hit the screens as it is the first release for Samantha after marriage and the first part in the series Raju Gari Gadhi was a super hit. However, the movie botched to amaze critics as well audiences. RGG2 is heading towards a disaster in overseas as it is underperforming there. Situation is almost similar in few other territories as well.

Lack of comedy and horror elements compared to first part is said to be major drawback of RGG 2 which raked around Rs 13 crores worldwide for 4 days, whereas the movie is needed to receover nearly 25 Cr from theaters for breakeven.

With Maa Maharaja Ravi Teja’s Raja The Great releasing tomorrow and Vijay’s Adirindhi hitting the screens in couple of days, it will be almost the end for RGG2 at box office if these two films get optimistic reports.
