Allu Sirish has pinned many hopes on Okka Kshanam which is directed by VI Anand whose last movie Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada was a big hit. Moreover, the film’s promotional content created interest on the project. Will Okka Kshanam provide first commercial break for Allu Sirish?

1. First Half
2. Lack Of Entertainment
3. Songs Emerge To Be Speed breakers

Parallel life is a very new concept for Indian audience. Director VI Anand experimented with the risky subject. Allu Sirish is shown as a guy with extreme attention on whatever he does on his personal interest. Love at first sight happens to him, when he sees Surabhi at a mall. No reason is shown why Surabhi gives her number to Sirish and she too starts adoring him. As their bonding develops, they get to know a shocking fact- their present is Avasarala-Seerat’s past. Pre-interval episode where Avasarala commits to have killed his wife was bang. However, first half was a bit slow. Movie turns racy in second half. The way Sirish and Surabhi cracks a secret individually is interesting. Sirish’s emotional scene with his mother, pre-climax episodes is best parts in second half. Overall, Okka Kshanam is a decent thriller.

Artists Performances:

Allu Sirish has improved as an actor and he looked good. But, he still needs to improve few things. Surabhi looked glamorous in trendy outfits. She has given good performance. Srinivas Avasarala has done his job quite efficiently. Seerat Kapoor is okay in a brief role. Jayaprakash was good as a professor. Vishwanath Kashi and Rohini were good. Other artists were decent.

Technical Aspect:
Director VI Anand picked an interesting subject. However, he missed many logics. First half screenplay was bit sluggish with repeated sequences, whereas second half was good. Dialogues are good here and there. Cinematography by Shyam K Naidu is bright. Mani Sharma has provided enchanting BGM, whereas songs are mediocre. Production values of Lakshmi Narasimha Entertainments are high in standard.

Those who love thrillers would enjoy this movie.

TeluguOne Perspective:
Okay Thriller
