Story: Charan (Ram Charan) is a college going guy responds to atrocities happening around him. To help his friend (Sashank) he starts going against Dharma (Sai Kumar) a local goon. In the meanwhile, Satya (Allu Arjun) is in love with Deepthi (Kajal Aggarwal). Similarly local don Dheeru Bhai (Rahul Dev) falls in love with Deepthi. As Deepthi hates violence they run way to Hyderabad to continue their love. Dharma and Dheeru who were looking for an opportunity to kill Charan and Satya gets their chance. Will Dheeru and Dharma succeed in their plans. Will Charan provide the motivation to the colony people to solve their issues with Dharma forms the rest of the storyline.

Perspective:
Vamshi Paidipally has given a neat commercial mass entertainer but for the 20 minutes in the second half which drags and gives the film a bad impact. However Ram Charan dual characters as a Satya and Charan should be lauded and his ease in these roles make us think of a bigger material. His scenes with Bhramanandam are funny. However the biggest drawback of the story is Amy Jackson, who is just poor in emoting. BG music is fantastic with Ram Charan antics. Songs from DSP is major asset.

Analysis:
Ram Charan has a another commercial entertainer and a sure shot winner, at-least for his fans and Vamshi Paidipally has used all the elements required and made available to him, in a very effective manner. There is nothing new story wise as the concept and theme is as old more like an inspired version of Faceoff. What works in this case is that, there were no false promises made and what was delivered, is what was expected of originally, from the director and the lead artist.
Though Yevadu is interesting, it has its own negatives like logic loopholes. But one can neglect it as a commercial cinematic freedom.

Performances:
Ram Charan has a wonderful screen presence and a bundle of energy and joy. He excels in all departments with powerful dialogue delivery, cute comical expressions, anxiety and arouse in stunt sequences and flawless dancing skills in the songs. Good to see him experiment with different steps in the Freedom number. Allu Arjun is good in his cameo. His mannerisms in the first fight sequence are nice.
All three female characters has limited characters to perform. Amy Jackson looks cute and Shruti Haasan is pretty in her character as like any other commercial film heroine and no complaints on her dubbing as the director has shown her as a Hyderabad girl. Kajal Aggarwal cameo is neat. Sai Kumar character has some powerful lines and his characterization is strong His histrionics in Bhaayam sequence is good. Kota Srinivasa Rao is superb in his extended cameo. Rahul Dev, Ajay and Sashank are okay in their roles.

Technicalities:
Technically the film has some decent work. Marthand K Venkatesh editing was flawless and he made sure the film had all its ingredients checked and at the same time, there was no unnecessary dragging in the film. C Ramprasad’s cinematography captured the action sequences well, especially the Interval Fight and the Rain fight and not to forget the bus fight scene involving a circled cars as well. Stunts were choreographed well and in a simple manner and in the Interval sequence was the best.
DSP is a big asset to the film as his music contribution has helped the film to reach audiences faster. All the songs in the film are good numbers and will remain in the charts for quite some time and his background score too was not bad, either. Production values of the film are grand.

Plus:
Lead Characters
Devi Sri Prasad
Screenplay
Fights

Minus:
Second Half Drags
Variation was missing in Characters
No Reel Strength in Negative Roles

Final Word: Perfect Commercial Entertainer

Yevadu Movie Rating : 3/5
