With sudden demise of music director Chakri following heart-attack, less-known things related to him are now seeing the light of the day.
Now it was revealed that Chakri before his death wished to meet Puri Jagannadh whom he used to call ‘Annnayya’. This news was revealed by none other than Puri Jagannadh as he wrote in this way on his facebook “Last night till 1 o'Clock he was in office and before going home his last dialogue to his office boy "Enduko Jagan Annayya ni ippudu chudalani undi ra "I really missed my brother,Feeling sad We both started our career at the same time He has done great work n gave me fantastic music Love you CHAKRI”.
Chakri and Puri known to be close pals and shared a great bond.They delivered blockbusters like Itlu Sravani Subramaniayam, Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamilammai, Sivamani, Andhrawala, 143,Deshamuduru and Nenithe. Always Chakri gave whatever the best music he could give to Puri Jagannadh.Chakri used to hold Puri in high respect as he gave him his first break. He also named his house after 'PUJA kutir', Pu represents Puri and Ja represents Jagannadh.
