on Sep 25, 2017

Young Tiger Jr NTR’s maiden Television Show Bigg Boss was a super hit. Actually, organizers are trying their best to rope in NTR to host the second season as well. Buzz is that, NTR has accepted to anchor the Bigg Boss next season as well.

While Bigg Boss is a successful program in urban areas, it has hot less TRP ratings in rural areas due to some reasons. Here are the reasons why Bigg Boss show was not that super hit compared to how it was received in urban zones.

Firstly, people in rural or uneducated didn’t understand the concept. Usually, people in rural area like entertainment than fights and wishes to watch programs which will have stars as contestants or hosts. Bigg Boss weekend episodes which were hosted by NTR got decent to good TRPs, whereas week days episodes got less TRPs. Most of the contestants in Bigg Boss season one were not so popular, except for few.

Above all, timing of the show is a big flaw, when it comes to rural area as people in villages prefer to sleep early and wake up early. Bigg Boss show starts at 9:30 PM and ends at 11 PM in week days, whereas it begins at 9 PM and ends at 10:30 in weekends.
