This Hollywood star is a fan of Irrfan!

Irrfan Khan will be seen alongside Hollywood star actor Tom Hanks in the movie Inferno. A few months back, there were also reports that the film would release in India two weeks prior to its US release date. According to a source, Irrfan is the reason for this decision. Tom Hanks while talking about how it was working with Irrfan Khan was all praises for the Indian actor. He said, "He’s a tremendous actor and I’ve been a fan for a long time. I’m just beguiled by his magic eyes. He has a physicality to him that is so specific and endearing. His value is his artistry.

And when I spoke to him about the movie, he specifically asked about the role of Sims. Irrfan does not fit the description of the character as written in the book, but his case for himself, his creative ideas about playing Sims, completely won me over and he’s an absolute pleasure to work with and is incredibly intelligent." The film's sources say, “Irrfan’s fan following in the country prompted the film’s producers to take this call. They realised that there is a lot of curiosity among fans regarding Tom and Irrfan’s pairing. Hence, to cash in on the actor’s popularity on his home turf, the producers decided to promote this film in India.”
