Ever since trailer of “Puli”, Tamil film featuring Vijay, Shruti Haasan and Hansika in the leads had its trailer released, there is huge hungama in Kollywood circles. If not for the poor show of the trailer, as those visual effects and hero Vijay’s getup looked no interesting, Telugu audiences are expected to go gaga over this trailer for senior actress Sridevi’s presence.
While Sridevi’s aged look itself has drawn flak, people are more miffed after coming to know the fact that Sridevi has rejected Baahubali’s Sivagami role in the first place. That has upset Telugu audiences to the core, but the phenomenal success of Baahubali has given them a last laugh as they feel that Sridevi lost a golden opportunity. Also for that reason, many are now uninterested in watching this hot aged-lady on silver screen. Seems like her mistake has cost dear, as Telugu people lost admiration for her.
