Benefit Shows Of Puli Going For Toss?

on Sep 30, 2015

Even a star Tamil hero couldn't escape the blow given by Income Tax sleuths. At a most shocking time, IT Department has decided to catch, if any black money offences, of fantasy film "Puli" and have given jolt to the biggies involved.

Earlier in the morning on Wednesday, "Puli" team was surprised with IT Department raiding houses and office of hero Vijay in Chennai, Madurai and Cochin. Later the residencies and offices of Puli distributors are also raided by the evening and none of the raids have got finished even now. That puts the early morning shows of "Puli" in big doldrums.

As the news was leaked by producers itself that Puli has done nearly 100 crore business, IT sleuths have acted swiftly and caught the team by the neck just before release. That gave the Puli team to make other arrangements for the release. Some theatres in Chennai have cancelled 5 am and 7am shows of Puli, while some theatres are refunding money back. Real situation could be assessed only by the morning.
