Srimanthudu Ticket Mania: 1000 Rs And More

With just two days for “Srimanthudu” to hit screens, already online ticket booking sites have kept “HouseFull” boards. Even at theatres, most tickets are sold out. Except a seat or two in the front row, every single ticket got sold out, most of the ticket for exorbitant prices. Probably after Baahubali, this is the biggest ticket mania our industry has seen these days.
Benefit shows are being arranged at many top tier cities in two Telugu states including Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur and Vizag. On August 7th at 4 am, Hyderabad will see special shows screened at Sri Ramulu, Bramaramba and Viswanth theatres in this belt of Kukatpally. Tickets are priced from 1000 to 2000 rupees and the benefit shows tickets are sold to corporates in huge numbers. No doubt, half of the crowds at these 4 am shows are going to be girls and that’s what Mahesh Babu’s star power is.
On August 7th, it’s going to be a mania in Tollywood and Kollywood, as both Srimanthudu and Selvandan are releasing on same day. Even in Chennai, benefit shows of both Telugu and tamil versions are being screened.
