Apparently Mahesh Babu has decided to keep the budget of his movies under control post the disastrous run of Aagadu at box office. Then Srimanthudu happened. He has turned producer himself and made the film at a less budget. That's not all however.

As Srimanthudu turned a huge success at box office collection more than 80 crores of 'share' from box office, Mahesh Babu is now going loose over budget. While his latest joint production venture "Brahmotsavam" is getting shot upwards in terms of budget, same is the case with upcoming Murugadoss film. Buzz has that nearly 100 crores of budget is being allotted to this film citing Mahesh's fame and Murugadoss stamina across Telugu, Tamil and Hindi circles.
Definitely if Mahesh is ready to expand budgets again, then we have to say that it is Srimanthudu effect. Because of that film's success, he's now ready to open doors.
