Rekha Comeback As Heroine’s Daughter

Veteran actress Rekha made her acting debut in Tollywood as child artist with the 1966 film Rangula Ratnam. She will be making her comeback to Telugu cinema next year with a suspense thriller film to be directed by Surya. Guess what, actress Poorna who was last seen in Srinivas Reddy starred Jayammu Nischayammura will be playing Rekha’s mom in the movie.
Poorna has already started shooting for her part in the movie. She will start shooting for her portions with Rekha in January next year. “I have been a huge fan of Rekha madam since my childhood and it's a dream come true for me to act with her in a film,“ says Poorna.
The film covers three generations, one of which is shot in black and white. Poorna plays Rekha’s mother in the retro segment. The other two portions will revolve around the childhood of Poorna’s character, Anjali, followed by her playing a young interior designer. Other details will be unveiled soon.
