Rana, Babu Made NRNM A True Hit!

on Aug 16, 2017

A film can be called true hit if it collects far higher to budget spent by producers. Likewise, Rana Daggubati's latest flick Nene Raju Nene Mantri directed by Teja can be termed as super hit. Although Rana's last movie Baahubali was an industry hit, his dad and co-producer Suresh Babu didn't go overboard to spend good budget on NRNM.

As per insiders, NRNM's budget including promotions is 13 to 15 crores. Rana took great responsibility of promoting the film. He visited many places and regularly interacted with media to hike buzz on the film. Suresh Babu stated that Rana personally looked after all the promotions to make the film a commercial hit.

NRNM collected over Rs 12 crores worldwide is going to be biggest hit among new releases. The major reason for the film becoming a safe venture for producers as well as distributors is decent budget spent on it.

Coming to other two new releases- Nithin's Lie and Bellamkonda Srinivas-Boyapati Srinu's Jaya Janaki Nayaka, producers shelled out lavish budgets to make them. Although these two films too got decent openings, they are expected to end as commercial failures because of excess of budget invested by producers.

Overall, result of the new releases is a good lesson for Telugu producers and stars in regard of budget management which is affecting fate of their movies!
