Ramayya Vastavayya Story: Nandu (NTR) is a student who track down Akarsha( Samantha) and kills her father. Things turn around when nandu reveals his flashback. The movie deals with the relation between Akshara’s father and NTR, And the reason behind killing.
Analysis: A complete mass entertainer with blood spilling fights and outstanding dance moves. It’s a very well known story line for Telugu audience, still Harish Shankar Added some salt and pepper and presented it. First half was completely focused on cool establishment of protagonist whereas second half has some extraordinary blood spilling fights. Harish Shankar slogged hard to show NTR in a new way. Prolly that didn’t work out pretty well. Sentiment scenes made audience to stick on to their respective seats. Comedy part is very poor but director satisfied audience with few laughing tidbits. .
Teluguone Perspective: NTR looks very stylish and smart enough. He has tried a new mannerism in the movie compared to his previous works. Of course, there is no need to mention about his dance. it is good but it seems somewhere he lost his grace. Director gave a kick start introduction to NTR by giving him Sr. NTR’s ‘Emantivi Emantivi’ dialogue. And the result is, a hall full of whistles and claps. Director made it with complete commercial elements which really can grab mass audience easily.
Performances: NTR simply rocked theater with his striking performance. The dialogues, dance, fights are undoubtedly awesome. Samantha is cute and she did her usual performance. Ravishankar’s performance is damn amazing. Rao Ramesh and Kota srinivas Rao’s roles are admirable. And rest of all did justice to their characters.
Technicalities: First of all, Chota K Naidu’s camera work is fantastic. BGM gave some boosting to the movie. Editing is fine.
