Ram Leela Review, Ram Leela Movie Review, Ram Leela Telugu Movie Review....After the success of ‘Genius’ at the box-office, Havish took his time and has come up with ‘Ram Leela’. Sripuram Kiran is making his directorial debut with this film and ‘Ram Leela’ also stars Abhijeet and Nandita. Let us check out the review to know more about the movie.

Story:

Krish (Abhijeeth) is talking to his parents from USA over the phone and he suddenly happens to see Sasya (Nanditha) in a Telugu channel. Without any second thoughts, he tells his parents that he has decided to marry that girl. He comes to India, expresses his love to Sasya, convinces her parents and both of them get married. Krish changes his job location from USA to Malaysia for the sake of Sasya. One fine day, when Krish returns to home to discuss the honeymoon plans, Sasya will be missing. She leaves a note to Krish. What does that note say? Why did Sasya leave Krish? Will they get back together? All these answers form the rest of the story.

Analysis:

If you can remember, directors like SV Krishna Reddy and EVV Satyanarayana used to concentrate more on relationship based concepts. This film comes under the same genre. It’s a fight between love and marriage. Today, the youth have set their priorities, which are against our tradition. Director Kiran tried to concentrate on this concept and he has succeeded to an extent. Though the story part has nothing new to offer, emotional climax of the film has become the major plus point for the film.

Teluguone Perspective:

‘Ram Leela’ is a blend of all the commercial elements. Thought the love track begins on Abhijeet and Nanditha, Havish steals the show with a decent performance. Havish has got a good role in his third film itself and the actor has utilised this opportunity and delivered his best. Normally, the current generation directors doesn’t like to touch the concepts on relationships as they think that these kinds of stories are outdated and the directors who are trying this genre, are coming up with B-Grade movies.

However, Sripuram Kiran took an old subject but executed the script in a convincing way. Comedy sequences are just ok and the director should have worked more on this section. Overall, ‘Ram Leela’ has got a good message for the youth who are in a wrong path.

Performances:

Havish has delivered a decent performance and his role stands out in the film. His dialogue delivery is a major plus for the film and Havish looked energetic in the songs. Nandita gave a good performance, but her role was limited. Abhijeet was just ok and he needs to improve a lot. He looked very artificial in many scenes. Ali and Sapthagiri were ok. Madalasa Sharma sizzled in an item number and she looked hot.

Technicalities:

Music and BGM by chinna were ok. ‘Ram Leela’ looked visually rich and the credit goes to cinematographer S Gopal Reddy. Karthik Srinivas is a major disadvantage for the film as the editing part was terrible. Production values of Ramadutha Creations are grand.

Positives:

Concept

Havish and Nanditha

Second Half

Negatives:

Routine story

Editing

Final Verdict: ‘Ram Leela’ is a one-time watch movie with a message that will appeal to the current generation.
