Rakul Upset Over Charan
on Dec 8, 2016
Tollywood is a male dominating industry. Heroines are limited for glamor shows. In fact, they don’t get much to perform and the only role of them is to sizzle in songs opposite heroes. And, career span of heroines is far less compared to heroes. On the flip side, money earning has become main motive for actresses.
Rakul Preet Singh is female lead in Ram Charan’s Dhruva directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Allu Aravind. In order to showcase heroism, Rakul is sidelined completely in promotional videos. Neither the makers are exploiting Rakul’s glamor in teasers or trailer, nor she was asked to attend any promotional events.
Upset over the makers uncaring behavior, Rakul has decided not to grace any endorsing programs, even though she will be asked to come.
Aravind Swamy is also said to be distressed over Dhruva makers for trimming his character and also for not inviting him for publicity events. “Aravind SWamy is not willing to sign any new Telugu films,” informs a source.
In Tamil version titled Thani Oruvan, antagonist’s role is more commanding to that of protagonist. Apparently, Dhruva makers did some changes as to uplift Charan’s role!
