Rajinikanth Injured On Robo 2 Sets

Superstar Rajinikanth suffered minor injury last night on the sets of Shankar directing magnum opus film Robo 2.0. As per reports, Rajini fell on the floor while shooting for the movie in Kelambakkam in Chennai and got his right knee wounded. He was immediately rushed to nearby hospital and is doing fine now.

Rajinikanth was treated at Chettinad Hospital for 30 minutes and fortunately the injury was minor. He resumed shooting on the very same day. It will be a huge relief for Rajinikanth as the matinee idol is doing well, as his health has been a cause for concern over the past few months.

Robo 2.0 requires Rajinikanth to perform deadly action sequences. Shankar making sure to capture these sequences with body doubles of Rajinikanth since he too is concerned about the superstar’s health.

In fact, the incident occurred while they were canning a normal sequence, but not an action sequence.
