Rajamouli Shocking Comments On Sathyaraj

on Apr 13, 2017

A group in Karnataka has threatened to protest Baahubali: The Conclusion because of a comment made by Sathyaraj, the actor who plays Katappa in the film. As we all know, Sathyaraj spoke vehemently about Cauvery Water disputes in Nadigar Sangam meeting few years ago, which apparently hurt the sentiments of Kannadigas.

Baahubali director SS Rajamouli has finally reacted to this threat in an interview with a Bollywood portal. “Though I can understand a bit of Tamil and Kannada, I didn't get what exactly Sathyaraj said on the day. But, what I observed was he spoke vehemently. We traveled with him for almost 5 years. He was a completely different man with us. He was a very soft-spoken person.

I don't know why but a group in Karnataka warned to boycott Baahubali 2. I request them why only Baahubali. Sathyaraj made the comments nearly 9 years ago. Baahubali part one and many of Sathyaraj nearly 25 films released in the meantime, including few of his production ventures.

In fact, one of Sathyaraj starrer film is still running in theaters in Karnataka. They haven't objected any of his films, but targeted only Baahubali 2. Neither he's hero of the film, nor is he a director or producer. He is just a character artist in the film,” said Rajamouli.

It may be mentioned here that, Baahubali 2 business hasn't yet closed in Karnataka because of this issue. Let's see where this issue ends!
