Director Puri Jagan is busy wrapping “Loafer” shooting in Rajasthan as hero Varun Tej and heroine Disha Patani are killing the show with their acting prowess. In the meantime, Film Nagar folks are worried about the promises that are made by this talented director.
Launching a “Director Hunt”, Puri has shared 10 story ideas through a leading media house and asked talented aspiring directors to make a movie on those lines. The best short film will not just get gifts, prizes or whatever, but the director will be getting a chance to make a movie itself under Puri Jagan’s production. What happened to that contest? Who won the prize? Is that winner getting a chance to make the movie?
We heard that a winner is selected and was given a gift hamper, some cash-voucher to buy clothes, which is valid for certain dates. But there is no word about making a movie with him. For the now, Puri is not sure who his next producer is, so how could he afford for a film with another director, quipped critics.
