Plagiarism Charges On Akhil’s “Akhil”

on Sep 1, 2015

When the first poster of “Baahubali” got released with a an infant being cut out of the sea layer, there were these wrong-finders who exposed that it’s copy of a English movie’s poster. Same is the case with Akkineni Akhil’s debut film now.

Couple of days ago, Akhil movie’s debut film poster “Akhil” has released. On the poster, Akhil is seen holding a fire ball, in his hands, and posing in a dynamic style shot from a low angle. The poster created instant attention for everyone. However, this poster is an exact copy of Japanese movie “Fire Ball” poster that was released 6 years ago. We are surprised if just the poster of the film is copied or the whole film is copied by VV Vinayak and Co.

Lifting foreign films is not new in Telugu Film Industry. Many a times our heroes and director got foreign films remade to Telugu nativity without even buying the rights. We have to see how Akhil’s team will react to these plagiarism charges.
