Angry hero Rajasekhar’s PSV Garuda Vega has done decent business in its first weekend and the movie is raking respectable numbers in week days as well. Thus far, Garuda Vega recovered nearly Rs 4 crores from theaters alone.
There were speculations that, Garuda Vega was made on a whopping budget of Rs 25 crores. However, the fact is that, makers spent nearly Rs 15 crores on the film including promotions. They sold theatrical rights of all areas to approximately Rs 11 crores which seems to be highly impossible to recover as many film are hitting the screens this week.
It is also heard that, Garuda Vega makers have been getting good offers in terms of satellite and other digital rights.
Trade experts say that, Rajasekhar and team leaked false news about budget to media to gain sympathy out of it. They indeed got succeeded.
While the makers are in very much safe zone, distributors are to incur losses.
