Sudhakar Komakula who was introduced with the movie “Life Is Beautiful”, acted in several movies later which did not give me hits. But now he is back with the movie “Nuvvu Thopu Raa”. Directed by a debutant director Srikanth, this movie has attracted the audience with its music & trailer & has released today. Let us now read its review.

Story:

A student from Sarur Nagar named Suri (Sudhakar) stops his Btech in between & roams without any aim in life. In the mean time he meets Ramya (Nithya) & falls in love with her. Ramya does not like his happy go lucky attitude & thus breaks up with him & goes to America. A situation comes when Suri also gets chance to go to America. He earns money & keeps sending it for his ill mother’s treatment. What happens later? How does he earn money? Answers to all this forms the movie story.

Plus Points:

Nirosha

Suri’s Character

Background Music

Cinematography

Minus Points:

Slow Narration

Lack of Novelty in the story

Weak climax

Analysis:

Sudhakar has lived the character of Suri. With a happy go lucky attitude & perfect telangana slang, he has done justice to his role. Nirisha as Suri’s mother done an excellent job. Heroine Nithya has done an okay performance. The points that went against the movie are its weak narration. Production values are good. 75% of the movie is shot in US only.

Finally:
“Nuvvu Thopura” is a regular story with no novelty. But Sudhakar has given his best.

Rating: 2.00
