Missing: Comedy Brahma Brahmi

Tollywood comedy brahma Brahmanandam is out of action for some time now. Surender Reddy ropes in Brahmi for all his films, but the actor wasn’t casted in Dhruva. Apparently, the director didn’t wish to include comedy or other unnecessary elements in the Ram Charan starred film.

In fact, Brahmanandam was prime choice for comedy roles until couple of years ago. But, with many young comedians who are available for less pay are shining in Tollywood, as to cut budget, filmmakers are not keen on signing the costliest comedy actor Brahmi for their films.

When offers were dried out, Brahmi even reduced his pay. Still, Telugu filmmakers are looking for other options for comedy portions. Fortunately for him, universal hero Kamal Haasan zeroed in Brahmanandam to play one of the lead roles in the upcoming comedy entertainer Sabash Naidu.

The film being directed by Kamal himself has been delayed for long time owing to injury of the ‘Bharateeyudu’ star. If the film was shot as planned, Sabhash Naidu would have hit the screens in this month. Now, it is postponed indefinitely.

On the flip side, even Telugu spectators are bored of watching Brahmi in routine kind of roles. Hope, Brahmi bounces back with Sabhash Naidu!
