on Dec 10, 2016
Ace director SS Rajamouli hinted few days ago about his magnum opus film Baahubali to have a television adaptation. Vijayendra Prasad, his dad and writer of the historical film, revealed few exciting updates of the TV series.
Baahubali TV series is said to be like the Game of Thrones in scale and duration and will be done in a seasonal format. The serial will be telecasted for a few months and then off-air for some only to return again.
Vijayendra Prasad has informed to have completed writing for both the segments of Baahubali TV series. It requires much more time for him to start the project. “As the characters should be more extravagantly included and the plot must be expanded according to the adapted format, commencement of the TV series would take some time,” informs he.
Meanwhile, Baahubali: The Conclusion is in post-production stages. The film includes extensive VFX work, so Rajamouli is spending good time on post-production works. The highly anticipated project of 2017 will release worldwide on April 28th.
