Om Namo Venkatesaya RD Locked
on Dec 4, 2016
Akkineni Nagarjuna’s devotional film Om Namo Venkatesaya release was initially planned for January. There were reports that, the film which is the life story of Lord Balaji’s ardent devotee and godman Hathiram Baba would release for Sankranthi to compete with Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 and Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni.
Nonetheless, the movie has been postponed to February because of delay in post-production works. As we reported earlier, music composer MM Keeravani has asked his makers to give him a sufficient time of two months to give best output (Background score). And the film involves some extensive visual effects which is other reason for the postponement.
It is learnt that, Om Namo Venkatesaya release date is locked. The film directed by veteran K Raghavendra Rao will hit the big screens on February 10th. Most probably, there will be no other notable film releasing in the week. Rana’s Ghazi release date is finalized for Feb 17th.
Other senior hero Venkatesh’s Guru will grace the theaters on January 26th, which that means cinemagoers will have movie festival in couple of months in January and February.
