Kangana Ranaut meets with an accident in US

Kangana Ranaut and some members of the team of Hansal Mehta's Simran have escaped a possibly-fatal car crash with a few bruises here and there. According to reports, the incident took place when the group was returning from the shooting location, which was outside Georgia, to their hotel in Atlanta. “A local driver was behind the wheel and was driving in the leftmost lane (meant for fast-moving traffic) on highway 381. Suddenly, he started coughing profusely and then blacked out while on the move,” says a report. When the driver blacked out, Kangana’s local bodyguard, who was sitting next to the driver, tried to “control the car’s movement” by maneuvering the steering wheel. But in that “nervous moment”, he couldn’t control the vehicle, which swerved to the right and cut through three of the highway’s lanes sharply, before banging into an iron fence. Within minutes of the accident, the local police reached the spot. Kangana, for one, “made sure that everyone else was well looked-after”. “Later, the film’s makers ensured that Kangana and the others went to the hospital for checkups to ensure no one suffered from any internal injuries".
