Veteran actor Ramana Murthy passes away. The 83-year-old actor, JV Ramana Murthy, brother of ‘Shankarabharanam’ fame JV Somayajulu, breathed his last at a hospital in Hyderabad yesterday. He was admitted to the hospital, as he was suffering from heart ailment.
Jonnelagadda Venkata Ramana Murthy was born on 20th May 1933. He started performing on the stages from childhood. He acted in many dramas like Evaru Donga, Keerhi Seshulu, etc. He had got a good reputation for portraying the role of 'Gireesham' in Gurazada’s ‘Kanyasulkam’ drama.
Some of the movies JV Ramana Murthy acted are Batasaari, Maro Charitra, Gorintaku, Aakali Rajyam, Saptapadi, Shubalekha, Sirivennela, Ananda Bhairavi, Kartavyam. Shankardada Zindabad was the last movie, he was seen on the screen.
