Chiru Don't Want To Become A Thief

on Feb 6, 2016

Megastar Chiranjeevi is moving pawns quite fast to kick start the remake of Tamil film "Kaththi" as his 150th film. He's actually bringing down huge changes to the film's story to suit his image, age and stardom.

Actually in Kaththi, Vijay played a dual role, one being a thief Kathiresan and other one is social activist Jeevanandam. For the thief role, who happens to be the hero for nearly 90% of the film, we hear that Chiranjeevi is making huge changes. "Megastar doesn't want to play petty thief because his image is big. He wants it to make a simple guy who comes from a village rather a thief coming from a prison", says a source.

Cinema lovers however say, the essence of the film is completely based on that thief characterisation only. We have to see how Chiru will set that out.
