For sometime recently, Boothu comedy has worked out well at box office. Then horror comedy and then crime comedy have done good. Movies like Srimanthudu changed the game, and this year, everything is a huge change.
As Nenu Sailaja hit well on January 1st itself, audiences are little shocked. A film with no good content, but only simple comedy, has clicked. And then the success of films like Nannaku Prematho, where there is no comedy at all, is a wonder. Then we have a mass film like Dictator that has no masala ingredients properly stuffed. Express Raja has only comedy but no story at all. There is Soggade Chinni Nayana, without mass dose and the film clicked.
In the coming days, we have movies like Brahmotsavam that revolves around family, pure mass Sardaar and similar Sarrainodu coming up. Then there is an intelligent film like Thani Oruvan remake coming up, while love stories, comedy films and horror films are anyway in the offing. So, 2016 is going to flash all varieties of genres of movies for us.
