Rebel Star!! Find The Real Problem
on Jan 20, 2016
Senior Rebel Star Krishnam Raju, who is going to finish 50 years of career in cinema industry by June this year, is all excited on his birthday today. On this occasion he stated that Telugu Industry needs to be revived at any cost as small films are unable to get theatres these days.
Frankly one cannot understand which small films Krishnam Raju is talking about? He has however suggested the idea of Telugu states building more screens such that small movies will get enough screens. What Krishnam Raju doesn't know is, currently those theatres, mostly single screens, that are built in interior towns and villages are shutting down and converting themselves to Marriage-Function halls. When existing screens are unable to run, what's the point in coming up with new screens?
Easy availability of piracy is one cause for audiences not coming to theatres, due to which exhibitors are demanding big heroes' films. Also with ticket prices soaring, some middle class movie lovers are not watching all films. Maybe Krishnam Raju should think about these factors and work towards them rather just asking for new screens.
