Seems like Naga Chaitanya wants his set of love stories more beautiful. While the Malyalam original "Premam" has bunch of talented yet good-looking ladies, here in Telugu remake, tentatively titled "Majnu", our Akkineni lad is picking up glamorous girls.
"Premam" is now being remade in Telugu under the direction of Chandu Mondeti for Telugu audiences. The film will have three heroines playing lead for three different phases of hero. For the intermediate-teen phase, Mallu girl Anupama Parameswaran is picked up. Then for college-going phase, we have Hindi hottie Amyra Dastur (Danush Anekudu and Emran Hashmi's Mr X fame) as the lead. Then we have gorgeous Shruti Haasan coming up for the final phase of hero's life that will be shown on the screen.
Romancing three heroines in the same film is something we don't see that often these days as audiences are thinking they are all 80s model scripts. But this being a romantic love story of different phases of life, maybe that will work.
