Nag Takes Big Risk After 25 Years

on Oct 4, 2017

Shiva was the game changer for hero Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma. The trend-setting movie provided first break for RGV as well as Nag. The duo later worked together for few films, but none of them gratified fans and cine goers. Govinda Govinda was the last movie in their combination. Later the two planned to make an English film titled Great Robbery, but it didn’t materialize.

RGV who had announced to quit Telugu industry post the debacle of Govinda Govinda made few films later but Rakta Charitra series provided him much needed break. However, he botched to make single hit later, though he made uncountable movies in recent times.

When no star hero is keen on working with RGV, Nagarjuna has given his nod to work with him. Thus, Nag and RGV are teaming up once again after nearly 25 years. RGV says that, this new film is going to be a realistic actioner in a never seen before backdrop.

“I am extremely excited that I am doing a film with Nagarjuna after nearly 25 years but contrary to some uninformed media speculations, this new film is nothing to with SHIVA,neither in character nor in story content..Its a very different but an extremely realistic action film set against a story such as neither me nor Nagarjuna has ever done before I just hope I will once again live up to his expectations which he had of me the first time he gave me a break,” informed RGV.

Nonetheless, many opine that, Nagarjuna should not have taken the risk, because RGV is not in a good form and he hasn’t scored a hit for long time.
